HONDA Deauville 650 - Adding cable to wiring loom - Gregory II

Hello Backroomers and Happy New year to you all!!

I have had to cut the wires leading to the ignition switch. Is it aceptable to add somemore cable here and solder it so that it becomes longer, or can this produce new problems at all? Can anyone give me some advice please.

Can't see any problems here as long as you use similar diameter cables with a neat solder joint.Good idea to stagger the joints so that they are not all bunched up together in the same place.hth
