Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, having favoured audi specific forums for several years. But I've been helping a friend with his 2.0 16v petrol 2002 C5. He's been experiencing issues on and off with anti-pollution warning, catalytic convertor warning, ESP light and a bit of kangaroo hopping and at times stalling. I think he's had low oil pressure warnings at time stoo. I changed the cat (actually it's most of the exhaust when you change the cat on one of these), lambda sensors and oil pressure sensor. The dealer changed his auxilliary fuse box and has checked the car on their diagnostics machine several times but seems unable to work it out. He has now noted that the issues seem to happen when there may be an amount of humidity or out and out wetness (rain). We're in Finland and the car was OK when the weather was warm and dry and even last week it was -20 but cold and dry. The biggest issues have been during the autumn when there was a lot of rain.
I'm stumped and know 2 guys who would be seriously impressed if anyone can help shed some light on these issues
cheers
nj
