Chrysler Grand Voyager 1998 3.3 Auto - Won't start as if it has run out of petrol - HelenPortsmouthuk

Sorry but I have lost the information I was following on the threads (everything seems so old I wanted to see if the site is still active)

No one wants to work on it. The car was running fine. Parked up one night. went to it in the morning and it was as if we had run out of petrol. so put petrol in, still nothing. I have had 4 mechanics looking at the car and it has to be recovered on a lorry every time to another garage.

They all tell me that the injectors are not getting petrol. One said it is immobilised. It trys to start as if you have run out of petrol. done the "key dance" the number that comes up is 999.

The milomoter(sp) are 7s going round and round.

I read somewhere here about a 21 pin plug I found it and a couple of wires are very slightly black.

We are lost just don't know what to do now.....

Please help

Helen

if it is the immobiliser

Can the immobiliser do this and can the immobiliser be taken off altogether. I just do'nt have spare cash for all this
