Had these codes march 2010, had oil an filter change, today 6 months after oil an filter change the codes are back. Car does not rattle, do not suspect chain problem.

Scenario: start car, after about 10 secs start to drive off, 10 yards down road, light on,car lurches forward and down as if to stop/stall, throwing you forwards with a positive jolt, after this split second symton ,light stays on and she drives all day no problems what so ever, oil level is fine, any views greatly appreaited.

I have the definition from my scan tool for the codes:

P0340:camshaft position sensor problem B1

P0011:intake valve timing control /B1 A cam position timing system perform.

Im guessing that P0011 is causing P0340 to come on.
