I have a 2006 Mondeo, Duratec Engine (2.0 Liter) and the engine has been cutting out every now and then while driving. Sometimes it would stutter all of a sudden, the rev needle would go up and down and sometimes the battery light would come as if the car has lost power then it would go again, if i am on the highway the problem is much less noticeable because I think the car catches up again because of the momentum, this has been happening since the past 4 months, i took it to ford and nothing came up on the computer check. I dont think its a fuel related issue but I still changed the fuel filter just to be sure. Any ideas? ...... can it be the the cam or the crank sensor?
