Renault Scenic 2 (2005) - Front Intermittent Wiper Problem - tornex

The front intermittent wiper selection does not work. When selected the wipers sweep once and park. If I then rotate the "raindrop" dial the wipers sweep once only on each selection and then park.

Is there a relay that could be faulty? If so where is it located?

There appears to be a relay (pink) above the fuses (which are OK) in the glovebox. There are also fuses under a cover beside the battery but these a very difficult to access.

Any help appreciated.

DId you manage to get this problem resolved? I have the same problem, I have replaced the wiper control switch, but it has made no difference. Don't know what to do next.

Any advice appreciated

Have you checed the UPC control box above the battery. They suffer from water ingress and cause wiper and light faults. Youll usually find corroded fuses if theres water inside, to save taking the whole lot out.
