VW 1.2 TSI engines - What fuel - Evertheoptimist

Do the new VW TSI engines need 98 grade petrol or are they ok on 95 ? I am thinking Skoda Yeti with this engine but there is a substantial price premium for the 98 ron.

Tells you in the handbook or have you not yet bought the car,they will run on the 95 uk petrol but I think they prefer 97 ask the main agents they will tell you.

The VW 1.2 TSI 105 PS engine uses unleaded 95 RON as its standard fuel.
