HI, if anyone can help id be really grateful.

I have had an intermittent starting problem with my megane. The battery is fairly new but when turning the ignition, absolutely nothing on occasions. Turning on and off the keyfob two or three times would sometimes rectify the problem and car would start, sometimes it wouldnt start but would be fine if left until the next day or two.....now it just wont do anything at all. The lights come on, radio on etc etc but nothing when turning the ignition. I dont hear any sound when trying to start so im thinking possibly not the starter motor (and im hoping not having been quoted £180 just to find out it might not have been that ! )

Im not technically minded...im a woman and prone to blonde moments, so if anyone could point me in the right direction of what I could be checking (in simply terms please : )) lol) Ive read maybe immobilser...or may be the TDC sensor...but havent the faintest idea where to locate these...and obviously I cant take it to the garage as it wont start !

Any ideas.....would be greatly appreciated (any offers to fix would also be greatly appreciated lol...only kidding ! )
