Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 - Merc C180:'04 plate-Auto Transmission Oil interval - Matthew J King

I don't see Auto Transmission Oil and Filter change in the Service schedule. I'm coming up to 38k miles and it's not there to be checked in the Services.

- How often should these be changed? 39k mile?

- Have these been added to the Service Schedule since the service book was printed/the car was manufactured?

Had my C class serviced recently and the dealer mentioned that it was recommended at 50000 or 5 years. It makes sense to me although I have owned and driven Mercedes in the past well past this ( over 100,000) without any adverse effects.
