ford mondeo mk 4, 08 reg - wheel sensor light and abs light on - taximark

My traction control and abs light came on when we had the bad weather over new year,

after reading many threads regarding this I left it alone and it went away, over the next couple of months it started to come back on now and again, now it has come on all the time,

The diagnostic check says wheel " sensor fault L/H rear,"

The sensor and conections have been cleaned and still the light stays on,

Today I fitted a new sensor and reset it by the diagnostic M/c and it still stays on,

Can anybody advise what to do next

I had exactly the same problem...Try fitting a new ring on the back of the hub that has a magnet in it, which the sensor picks up form, I think its called a reluctor ring. That was my problem.
