Hi ,

I am From Mumbai india, I own A Skoda Laura AT. I am having a battery Draining Problem. I am Not able to start the car if i dont use it for 2 days . if it lies idle without use for 2 days my remote wont open the car. I changed the battery, I sent the car to authorised service for more than a month and they could do nothing ! the said they ripped all the wiring and refitted ! they are so bad in here in India ! If i use it regularly the problem does not arise . What Can I do ? What do u suspect ? please help

You need a multimeter with an 'amps' range, disconnect one battery terminal and connect the meter to the lead you have removed and the battery terminal you took it from, with nothing turned on it shouldn't read more than about 100 ma (1/10 amp) if it does remove each fuse in turn until the load drops, find out what is connected to that fuse and that will be your problem.
