When I tried to lock the car the other day it did the locking-then-unlocking-itself thing for the first time. After opening and closing several doors I managed to get the car to lock.

But when I came to open it again the next day I found that only the passenger door would unlock. I had to reach across, inside the car and manually press open the lock on the driver's side.

I only have a manual key, no remote/fob.

Unlocking the car from the driver's side has never worked while I've had the car. The central locking, up till now, has always been fine. I.e. if you open from the pass side, the drivers side will unlock too.

Any ideas what's going wrong?
