Peugeot 406 1999 hdi 2.9l estate - Will not start after being driven - dazzab

Hi guys and Gals

I have a pug 406 diesel 1999, it has been sat for a while and starts first time, idles forever on the drive, once you take it on a run (over about 5 miles) and turn off the engine, it will not start again for about 30 minutes, really odd, any ideas??

Moved to Technical as I think you'll get more replies. I don't think Peugeot did a 2.9: could it be a 1.9 or 2.0?
