Finding a Honda Jazz Sport

I have been looking to buy a car for about 3 months and not having much knowledge of cars, as well as previous bad experience with buying, I have become too cautious.

I want to buy a reliable car which will last for a few years without giving trouble, which can depend on luck to an extent, but I cannot find anything that I feel confident about or that doesn't seem to be overpriced.

I will be grateful if you can advise me as to what sort price I should pay for a Honda Jazz (2005-2007) sport auto, and also any other advice as to where else I should look so I can buy with confidence and at the same time not pay more what I should do.
