Vauxhall Insignia - Faulty Flywheel on Insignia CDTI 160ps Ecoflex - DOB1

I have had a 160ps Insignia Ecoflex for about 7 weeks and have 7,000kms on the clock. Recently I noticed that it had a tendency to become rattly in traffic and the needle on the rev counter had started to bounce up and down. I left it to a dealership to look at and they tried at first to tell me that it was an issue with the DPF, however, after driving it in traffic, they agreed that it was definately clutch related and stripped out the clutch and gearbox. I got a call earlier this week to tell me that the Dual Mass Flywheel was faulty and would need tobe replaced, however it seems that they are now on back oreder all across Europe. It is looking like there may have been a faulty batch of them and there could be a wait of up to 4 weeks.

Just thought this may be of use to anyone with the same car.
