Mercedes Benz S-Class W221 - S CLASS WITH MAJOR HANDLING PROBLEMS - BOCONNELL

Bought a brand new S320 CDI in July 2007 and since then it has been wearing tyres off in approx 8000 miles average. There is a constant shuddering coming through the steering and the car lunges to the left hand side. In one instance the car actually caused the passenger side front tyre to buckle.

We have had the car back to the Mercedes dealership on numerous occasions to have it re-aligned etc but to no avail. I am now worried whether or not the car will pass an MOT test in its current state

Has anyone else had similar problems or any suggestions?

How about getting the dealer to put it through an MOT or taking it to a Council run MOT station, if it fails now, there should be time to get the dealership/MB to sort it before the real MOT (and I assume the warranty runs out)
