Hiya chaps,

2003 1.4 16v duratec engine. The MPG is low, and if you try to accelerate at or below 2k rpm the engine misfires quite violently and struggles to pickup - although it does eventually.

New plugs, aftermarket coil & HT leads. New ford Air filter, temp sensor and thermostat. I've checked the crank/cam and o2 sensors on a o'scope and they seem fine (at idle at least)

No DTC codes logged, can see all good things on live data screen, o2 sensor switching ok etc. Only thing possibly is the igntion timing advance seems to vary quite a lot.
