FIESTA 1.4 TDCI (2003) - RE - FUELLING - wazmitch

Hi,

I am having problems refuelling, i cannot fully depress trigger on the garage fuel pump without it cutting out and having to let th fuel trickle into the car.

I have fed a rubber pipe well into the spout to see if any blockages but there does not seem to be any....the hose does not reach the diesel in the tank.

Has anyone had such probs?

Nissa Micra's suffered from this problem.It was a one way vent valve sticking.It ran alongside the filler tube.

Remove from tank end and fire air up to unblock.I would assume yours is the same system, Give your local garage this information and its a 10 min. job.
