For a while I used the email address as login on another forum....

Googlemail has a good spamfilter anyway - and it certainly won`t put me of posting here.

Maybe it was someone bored on a night shift - funny time to send an email at 1.30am

Anyway, It`s fine with me if the Mod`s would prefer to delete this thread.If anymore come tonight they will go into the spamfilter without me seeing them.

An interesting little diversion though....

Got to have a lie down in darkened room after trying to work me way through all those squiggles to get the jist of the mail.

Is it you thats not bovvered or the insomniac, as my old mate used to say if he couldn't sleep when he was a lot younger, get the Kays catalogue out...think about it..;)

No, it`s me that`s `not bovvered` - these are `only` Googlemail accounts anyway - but the spam filtering on them seems superb compared with the old pop3 accounts I had recently.

So, what`s new? are you monitoring those frames on the Sherman?

(warm humour intended there ;-)

I`m just getting to grips with Picasa and am going to post some shots/caption quizzes (mods permitting) in the near future. I uploaded a test pic of myself pulling the rickshaw in HK, on the end of the `Donkey trap` thread -but perhaps you saw it last time.

I like that 'the Sherman', get banned if i tell you what swmbo calls it.

Chassis looking good after winter with only a spot or two of exposed chassis/suspension needing touch up, brake pipes etc still covered in sealer...pro rustproofing looking good, will jack up and grease the leaf spring soon as soon as the last of the salts gone.

Exhaust however looking decidedly grim, so it's been rubbed down and repainted again (Monday actually) in stubborn resistance to accepting the inevitable, seems to ba an annual performance which may well be a complete waste of time but i'm Cheshire/Irish so inherited stubborness won't let me stop, when it eventually perforates a stainless will be the order of the day..;)

Hope you'll be giving some running reports on the new beasty, is fuel (costs) now a dirty word compared to the running costs of the old Punto which i confess i would have have tried to get pump overhauled somewhere and kept it, but it's always a difficult decision and easy for me to pontificate from 150 miles away.

Missed your pics, i don't get to read all posts these days.

Just wanted to say none of the regular flock find you posts in the least boring, not to say i understand 'em all the time mind you..;)
