03 2.0HDi Starting problems when cold - D Brown
Peugout Partner Combi 2.0 HDi diesel. 53 plate 50,000 miles. Slow starting this winter.
Battery checked OK.
All fuses OK.
All glowplugs ok, ~1ohm and go red hot quickly.
No volts on glowplug terminal when starting even when <6degress celcius.
Can you help?

Are you saying that although the glow plugs all test ok, there is no voltage reaching them.

If so it will probably be the glow plug relay, may be located in the engine bay fuse box.

Hi there.
Thanks for feedback, really appreciated. In a recent really cold day, I tested volts and it was working correctly. But it has to be close to zero celcius. So I'm wundering if the temp sensor isn't reading that accurately. Any thoughts? Is that built into the relay/control box? I think the control box is under the steering column.
