05 1.7 water temp sensor - B..museum
I have jusy changed the cooling thermostat (not easy had to remove the battery) and now the engine temp gauge stays unrecording though the heater gets hot. It did work ok before!
Where is this sensor and how do I reach it?

Dont know your particular car but they are usually located on the thermostat housing, so have a look where you were working.

Thanks for the info. I've found the sensor to the right and below the thermostat housing, and can just reach it by moving the battery and tray.
But not enough to replace the sensor. It does seem to be operating again now after I wriggled the wire about a bit so I'll leave alone intil the weather gets warmer.

That's OK , you probably just disturbed it doing the thermostat.
