Hi. Does anyone know how to re-programme a key fob. I had to change the battery but it does not work. If anyone can help that would be great.

See my thread kkc on key fob batteries. My car is a Chrysler Cruiser.

I thought (and so did other people) that the thing needed reprogramming, and I did put the car through one of the processes rather poorly described in the owner's manual. However what really seems to make a difference is what batteries are used. Some just don't seem to work even when they are new.

Ignition on press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons then release one then the other and press the other one.

Hi. When you say engine on do you mean running or just turn the key to pre start position?
