hi all, my key fob as stopped working due to the fact that my heater controls are on a perminent live, when i get out i have to turn my heaters off else my battery goes flat.
The other night i forgot, i was late for work and was in a rush. when i came out to go home i could not unlock my doors with the key fob - not enough power in the battery i think, i eventually got my door lock to open, it was a bit stiff to open due to the fact they never get used, anyway i got the car running. When i got home i went to lock it with the key fob and nothing is happening.
is it just coincidence the battery as gone in my remote or do i need to get it re-coded?
never experienced this before, thanks glyn..........
{I think you mean key fob, instead of key thobe? Also added some punctuation and broke up some of the sentences to make for easier reading}

Insert the key in the ignition. Turn the key to the on position. Hold the unlock button down for approx 15 seconds. You should hear a click which means your car has now recognised the key fob. As I've had the same problem with my Peugeot 406 and the Picasso uses the same system I know it works.
Hope this helps
