03 1.9 flashing security light on dashboard - mistylady
can anyone tell me how to connect a flashing led light, which is to be mounted on the dashboard, directly to the battery. I can't find an obvious route from the dashboard to the battery. Or is there another way to connect it so that it flashes to give the impression that an alarm is fitted. thanks

if you buy a relevant 12 volt flashing led from maplins you could always wire it to the constant live on the ignition switch

Get a flashing red LED.Wire it fom the supply to the ignition switch to the output from the switch.When ignition is on-both are same voltage no flashes.but when off,12v.across light.
