00 2.5 Central locking and alarm problems - Paddy005

Hi i wonder if any one can help. The other day the alarm went of by it self and stopped itself after about 30 mins.
Then when i went to reset with the remote nothing happend. The central locking was also not working. The car is Turbo deisel manul. So if you declutch it starts but the central locking dont work with remote ooh and the radio is not working to. When im on the road and speed reaches over 25 mph all the doors lock themselves. But you have to open each doors from its only lock.

Hi
What is the year? 2000? just to confirm what module yours is. I take it the locks are also not working on the button inside the car?

hi Thanks yes its year 2000. once all the locks lock after the speed has reached , you can unlock the doors from the central switch on either of the front doors if thats what you mean. Just cant lock or unlock all doors with key or remote.
