On turning the ignition on I get the three beeps and the oil level light shows all --------
The Oil level is correct, there is no STOP warning light and the engine runs fine.
I used to get this happening intermittently without the beeps, this is now happening all the time and all I have done is to have a new battery fitted in the last week.
Does this sound like a sensor issue ?
Thanks
Mike

There is a very precise battery disconnect/reconnect procedure for these (and all recent Peugeot/Citroen) cars to protect the BSI, and if it isn't followed the BSI can be damaged throwing up problems like this.
I am not saying that this is what has happened, but it is a possibility.
You will probably need to take it to a dealer for testing.

a lot of independent garages can test it.
if you wana know the disconnect procedure then let me know and ill post it.
its prob just the sensor playing up or car is not on level ground.

Thanks everyone for the prompt replies.
I tried it tonight and it was working fine again, yes I would like to know what the disconnect/reconnect procedure is, that would be useful to know.
I had the battery fitted by a Kwik Fit Fitter so any damage will be down to them.
