I was following a 52 plate A6 Avant earlier and all its indicators were stuck on - the only time iver ever seen this before was occasionally on old Ford/Vauxhalls and a few early Fiat Puntos before now.
Is this the result of aftermarket electrics being fitted badly or something, as ive not seen such a thing on any Audi before, let alone a fairly modern one.

Usually just a bad earth!

A bad earth could not cause this. It is easy to drive with your indicators on. Just push the stalk down. It won't self cancel if you stay in a staright line.

All its indicators stuck on - perhaps the driver had just forgotten to turn off the hazards switch?

I think stu meant that the indicators lights were not flashing but on permanently on both sides.
(Am I right stu?)

US spec audi with "day marker lamps"?
|
|
Yes indeedy, all bulbs front and rear were permanantly lit. Rare you ever see that these days hence worthy of note! Id hate to book it into Audi to fault find on that issue!

Its was a 2.0 S-Line model - do they sell them in the states?

Sorry stu, I should have read your original post properly!
