Broken alarm - saxo2000
Hi there I am having problems with my Saxo alarm. Its a 2000/W registration Saxo and the alarm has set itself and the fob will not turn off the alarm. The only way I have made it stop is to disconnect the battery which is a problem as I can?t drive the car. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can turn the alarm off or even where the alarm is in the engine bay so I can disconnect it?

Thanks

Andy

Firstly technical discussions should be in technical. But this is discussing overcoming an alarm therefore this site is not the place to discuss.

Have you tried the obvious like changing the battery in the key fob. Or the spare key fob?

Does your car have an immobiliser with a chip in the key? If so try putting it in the ignition and turning it. The car will read the key's chip and turn off the alarm/immobiliser.
