Difficult to change? Bearing in mind far from a mechanic. Just don't want to pay Peugeot £30 to disconnect and reconnect two hoses. The worry is those two hoses (either end of the filter) will spurt petrol everywhere!

If you are worried about spraying fuel everywhere, don't be. Just replace the filter after an overnight stop when the residual pressure will have dissapeared. Have plenty of rag handy to soak up the contents of the filter as you remove it and dispose of the thing properly, don't bung it in the bin full of petrol!

If they're flexible hoses, then either purchase some pipe clamps from local motorist centre, or improvise by wrapping a rag around hose (to protect it) and compress hose with mole-grips.

But not if they're flexible nylon.
