1993 1.9 Alarm Problem - WillnRach
Hi all, My problem is that the alarm will not switch off, the blip works fine with new batteries and locks/unlocks the doors, the flashing led remains on, hence when you unlock doors the horn sounds and will not switch off, unless you turn ignition on, but the immobiliser is still on so i cannot start the car. I cannot find where the alarm is situated.
MARK 1 PEUGEOT 405 ESTATE LXD K REG WHATEVER YEAR THAT IS.

There may be another key on the fob, and a key slot under the bonnet, near the battery I think. Should de-activate it.

Indeed. My '95 405 has a key slot just behind the slam panel, in front of the battery, on the right hand side of the car. There should be a little round topped key with the car .....
