Is there anyone out there with the knowledge and equipment to custom build a small radio for use in a car please?

made make/model non-specific unless you have an AC 1.6 de-luxe of course !

Most of the vintage & classic car radio restorers out there are busily making 1940's / 1950's /1960's radios as good as new but with the addition of FM reception / CD / MP3 / iPod connectivity, so building a custom radio for you should be no problem. Just Google for radio restoration etc.
