Can anyone tell me which Act includes the provisions for seizure and crushing of un-insured vehicles?

Section 152 Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 amends section 165 Road Traffic Act 1988 and sets out the power to seize vehicles where the driver has no Licence or Insurance.

Just checked the documents and the act covers seizure, the 2008 SI amends the prices in SI3049 of 2002.
Now what I was looking for was what date the insurance had to be valid for to recover the car . . . .

When seized a Notice will be issued setting out various matters including recovery by Owner/Reg Keeper from Police Pound/Styorage Area . At this time a Certificate of Insurance must be produced by the said Owner/Reg Keeper covering use of vehicle when it is taken out on the road. DOC is not an option I seem to recall. Likewise driver must show Driving Licence.
