I know this is the 3rd question I have asked today...
Yes, you have probably gathered by now I am planning a trip to Europe Brussels Ghent.
My mate drove this weekend but I am driving next time.
Road signs and their highway code. Where do I find out what all that funny writing means?!

I wouldn't worry too much about the road signs in Belgium, you'll be too busy observing and avoiding the dodgem drivers.
Most roadsigns are similar to the UK, see tinyurl.com/5bv47w

I do that route about five times a month - less hassle than a Friday pm on the M25.
Roadsigns are no problem, and it's an easy journey. Spped limit of 120 kmh in BE, though I've never seen a speed trap. Gatsos on many light-controlled junctions though.

Viamichelin site shows speed camera locations in Belgium.
I know, I'm researching my route from Zeebrugge to Como.

The one I am puzzled by is the first one there "Intersection with Tramway". There is now way I could have guessed that was what it meant.

Until you collected a tram thru the side of your car of course!
