Im only after fitting a lockwood white dial dash into my 2005 st tdci good fit and looks well during the day but im not happy with it back lit at nite so was wondering if i can put an st220 white dail dash into it obviously the rev counter may not read right but if the speedo, tempature and fuel gauge was to work id be happy> any one ever tried it. cheers

The dash has all the security settings in it so changing it won't allow it to start!.You will have to get the dsah reprogramed but I don't think the rev counter will work.

rite so a no go then! so even to change the dash from another diesel car it will still fail to start

correct. the dash has alol the imobilizer info in it. Its complicated but you can have the dash reproggrammed but don't advise it.
