magnatec 5w-30 A1.......petrol or tdci?
ford supreme E......ok?
ive a mondeo tdci 130 and a tourneo 55 plate tdci duratorq
both need oil changes, so i need 12 ltrs.........not cheap!

Ford Formula E is the recommended oil for both.

are they the same engine? no-one seems certain, both are tdci duratorq 2.0, the tourneo is 125ps the mondeo is 130ps
a bloke has some oil for sale, fully synthetic, gave me these off the box..

the VW and MB i can work out, cant see the A1 i thought the ford needed

Have you asked your local Ford parts department what they would sell you a carton of 4 gallon containers of Formula E for? You might be plesently surprised

Ford 55 plate tourneo tdci book says...
"use SAE 5W-30"
OR....WSS-M2C913-B
the Mondeo book says...
"use SAE 5W-30"
ACEA A1/B1 or ACEA A3/B3 (use of these may result in longer cranking periods)

The A1 is a fuel economy oil, the A3 Synthetic oil above is ok to use (A3=better protection IIRC), if it's 5w/30 (or even 5w/40), but theoretically is less fuel economical.
