00. 2.5 ABS and Traction Control Faulty, - britishlions
Hi my Mondeo ST200 ABS and Traction Control lights don't come on when ignition lights are on.No sign at all.The traction control button doesn't even come on when pressed.However the handbrake light stays on when being driven.I've checked the relay in the fuse box compartment under the bonnet and also the fuse near to the glove compartment and both are fine.Could any one give me any info which results in the problem thanks

Hi the person i brought the car from stated that he never noticed them working and was unaware of the lights.He did say that the handbrake light started to flicker and stay on,which its still on todate

Sounds like the abs/traction warning lights have been previously removed to hide an existing fault.The abs light needs to function correctly for the MOT test.hth

Is the handbrake light also a low brake fluid warning light? If so, then check the level.
