hi can anyone help?

Peugeot 306 td 1.9 t reg with lucas pump. now the problem, I used the car for work, fine, I then went shopping, again fine. The following morning it wont start, no fuel in pipe between filter and pump. I bled the line; fine. I left car overnight and the same problem next morning, so on the advice of a friend I have changed fuel hand primer, fuel pipe from hand primer to filter, and the leak off pipes on the injectors, and the return pipe from the pump. I have also taken the whole filter assy off, cleaned and checked. Lastly I bled from pump to the injectors. at a loss to what to do next? cheers

Change the primer pump the seal's will be leaking fuel back to the tank & fit a new filter.

so you've actually fitted a new hand primer, or was it second hand?

Hi thanks for the help.
I seem to have cured the problem fuel is now holding in the system, but car still wouldn't start so checked the heater plugs found that only one was working so have replaced all four. Now starts a treat but any ideas why three plugs would go like that, only replaced them about four months ago. cheers

Don't buy cheap plugs do pay for good quality, then they should last for a few years.
