The charging light has come on permanently and all charge has now gone from the battery.
Had the alternator replaced within last 2 months and wondered if this is the fault?
Last week the charging light was on intermittently but the problem miraculously cleared.
Any one had similar experience or can offer advise?
Its now back in the garage waiting on an electrician to diagnose the problem?
Thanks for any help

Easiest Way to check if your alternator is charging, is to put a voltmeter across the battery when the car is running. If it's charging ok, it should give you around 14.4 Volts. If it is the alternator thats faulty, get it overhauled, it's far cheaper than buying new.

If the alternator is faulty, take it back under guarantee.
