Hi, one of the keys buttons for my 03 zafira is not functioning properly. I changed the batteries but still when I press on the button to open or close it won't work straight away, some times I have to press on it five or six times before it will work.

Could be a dry solder joint on the circuit board (common fault apparantly). You could also try putting a piece of thin card on top of the battery to make it press down a bit harder to make better contact.
The following link shows where the dry joint is (and also mentions the thin card).

Actually I think the battery holder is supposed to be a push fit onto the PCB contacts ( not 100% sure) rather than soldered, relying on pressure when the two halves are clamped together to ensure contact, so shoving a bit of card / elastic band between the top of the battery and the top half of the casing can help.
The other issue that causes problems on these fobs is that the actual switch contacts wear out, I've got a link somewhere showing how to do a transplant from another fob, you need to be pretty handy with a soldering iron mind you. I'll try and find the link.

Thanks for these suggestions, I'll try these and post back to say how I got on.

Thats magic, Thanks guys, tried the simple one for me first, the card on top of the battery and that did the trick, it works every time now. Thank you.
