Hi, all
I have recently got the infamous glow plug problem in my 2002 mondeo TDCi. The car is running all right but not enough power, like no turbo.
RAC got the error code p2336, is something called injector 1 below threshold.
I have checked on Google and found out that this need recalibration of the injector. But the dealer won't do it before I pay £90 for them to read the code again.
I am wondering if I can buy any software and do it myself. It seems pretty easy as the code is written on the engine and I just need to enter it into ECU.
Many thanks in advance.

Plenty of software will do this.
Unfortunately; it come inside a scanner that starts from around £3000 up-front and horrendous annual contract/access charges. The dealers IDS is over £12,000.
Of course they've got to re-read all the coding; number 1 injector isn't as simple as it seems - they're numbered in firing order not position and they all have to be re-coded.

Many thanks for your reply.
That's more expensive than my car. It seems that I have to take it back to the dealer.
