Richard Parry-Jones
I know him - well twice removed. He's from the same town as Mr Mender.
|
I knew him in the 1990s - transformed Fords at the time and very much for the better.

I'd have put Sir Alec Issigonis higher up than 30th. And I wonder if they should have gone further back. People like Karl Benz, Henry Ford, Herbert Austin and William Morris would have a place in my top 50 - and for quite different reasons I suppose (slightly reluctantly from a motorist's point of view) one should consider Ken Livingstone.

Bunch of dreary suits, with a couple of exceptions.
What on earth has Lamborghini got to do with 'motoring'? Posing more like.
Where is Dr Porsche? Not to mention a few other actual engineer/inventor/manufacturers.
Carp, fit only for the business supplement. Of course that may be terrific fun for some people.
