Is it possible to install a Cd multichanger in an '05 Tino which has single CD player is fitted as standard. I particularly want to know if it can be connected into the system so that it can be operated from the console/steering wheel controls. If it can be done, does anyone know where I can acquire the necessary adaptor ("Connect2" don't do one).

Have you tried your nissan dealer? Its worth asking their parts dept if they do a multichanger as an accessory.

Hi scrapmetal,
Thanks for that. I should have mentioned that I already have a Sony multichanger which I'd removed from my previous car and was hoping to fit into the Tino. I dread to think how much a Nissan equivalent would set me back.

Its a long shot but maybe they do a lead to fit the sony multichanger, failing that you could try an auto electrician.

Go on Connects2 web site they do not do one it does not exist.

According to Connects2 web site you can connect an Alpine cd changer with the head unit using the interface, halfords normally stock them or can get them quickly normally around £50.

Hi Scot,
Sorry for the delay, only just seen your query.
Nissan no longer supply a CD changer for the later Tino but I managed to get the part number from them and cross referencing it on Google revealed it to be the Sony CDX-454RF It has its own wired controller and can not be controlled through the cars system. I managed to find one on ebay for 40 pounds. (Nissan sold them for almost 300). I haven't got around to fitting it yet so can't comment on how well it works, but being a Sony it should at least be reasonably good.
Can't help with your gear changing problem. Mine works fine. The only complaint I have with the car is the excessive tyre/road noise -- any answers?.
Cheers, Andy

Hi Andy
I have decided to put up with the single cd player even though I had the multi play on the previous Tino. The gear changing issue has been resolved I was not pushing the gear lever far enough over to the left!
Tyre noise not had a problem currently got Dunlop 205's SP Sports and previously have used Michelin Energy's without a problem other than having problems getting them balanced correctly.
Have you had any problems with diesil air mass filter. I have currently a post running as the engine suddenly loses power as if the rev limiter cuts in. Other posters have replied and stated similar problems. Any views?
