So I was stupid
I stuffed up
I got it wrong
Last week I asked you the best way to spend £5k on a 4 mile per day car
Quite rightly my dream of a shiny Fiat Panda were torched
Diesel 205 you said, £800 you said
Thus besmirched and educated I return
And I?ve turned it upside down
So what happens if wifey takes the Focus to the station and back and I get the second car!
So what?s it to be
My journey to work is 8 miles, so 16 per day, plus 9 months of the year I travel into London twice a week (quite a bit of Mway plus Tjams). I reckon my annual mileage is circa 12k
Money? I don?t want to spend more than £5k (tempt me) (or the missus is really getting the N plate 205(saved on the car but spent on the divorce, what, what?))
Given the miles, I can stand the fuel, but not interest in anything that needs ?special? attention (means more than once a month checking fluid levels, annual service, half a brain)
So the down side, my garage is a bit pokey 4.6 by 2.3 (but 3.8 by 2.3 and I don?t have to remove a cupboard, hence Turin?s finest!!) and it needs to fit in!
Round two ? whatcha got?
Oh and by the way, would really appreciate some actual links to cars for sale, not just theory. I live in Redborn, AL3, and will travel 100 miles ish.

Is this some sort of code?

Having just bought one, MX5!

Is this some sort of code?
Pure poetry, nothing to do with motoring at all. It's an allegory bemoaning the inversion of value-norms in a post-industrial society.
