One of my customers has just collected his £250 14yr old car from a service. He has chosen to run for this for a couple of years but now choses to have something a bit better....a lot better in fact.
He is looking at the cash purchase of a two year old Honda Prelude, one of the last. I know little of these apart from the comments in the car-by car breakdown on this site.
Obviously Honda have a top reputation but what else should I know.
He just wants some general advice/conversation about this change.

Hi David.
Providing all the usual warnings are adhered to (HPI, FSH etc) I am sure he will be delighted. They really are just super, fully loaded , cars. No regular faults that I know of, certainly not engine-related, although like all moderns thay do need a good workout now and again ! Cambelt is advised at 60K, I think, and I have never know a Honda belt to let go inside recommended mileage, but if he is going to keep the car I would change it at 6 years regardless of mileage.
One word of warning - they are quite low - anyone with an insipient back problem might find it hard work.

What do you mean you've read the car by car breakdown, but you still need more info ?
