In Car TV / Video - Marcus
My local Barber has just demonstrated his in Car TV/Video system to me, it slots into the dashboard in place of the usual radio, it is a fantastic system no doubt but.

He says he has it on all the time while he is driving ...........

Surely it is illegal to watch a tv in a moving car ?

And if so why is such a device on sale ?

Marcus ( Luddite )
Re: In Car TV / Video - Phil
Yes it is illegal. In cars that have it as standard (see 7 series etc) they only work when the car is stationary.
Re: In Car TV / Video - Tranter
My car has a fully reclining drivers seat - I tend to use it in the upright position whilst driving and recline it when parked.

BTW It is legal to watch cable TV whilst driving.

Re: Trevor Potter - where are you when you're need - neil
Or are you still looking for a phonebox to change into your I AM regalia?

I think the maroon acrylic should do it!

Come on girls this garbage from neil is just the sort of stuff this site does not need and has been refreshingly free from in the past.

Obviously someone won't be answering any personal ads requiring GSOH.
Re: Trevor Potter - where are you when you're need - neil
Well, fair do's I suppose - but he DOES annoy me!
Re: In Car TV / Video - Derek
What has he found that's good to watch? Most TV nowadays is cr*p, especially the daytime variety (which is a result of employers colluding with the TV companies to get sick employees back to work quickly).
