vectra cruise control 2.2dti - electric al
my cruise control has stopped working ,car running o.k. is there a fuse or a way to re-set it, The green light indicating cruise is on will not light up at required speed.
The engine managment system was updated on last service in december is this update a possible reason for hiccup.

Looking at your your other post regarding poswer loss, I see that it's a Vectra-C.

Common problem with these was a weak return spring on the brake pedal and thus not fully disengaging the brake switch. Easiest way to test is to put your foot behind the pedal whilst driving along and see if you can pull the pedal towards you at all and then seeing if the CC will activate. If it does, then the spring needs replacing for a stronger one.

Failing that, then it has been reported that it *can* be an ecu related fault and people have had them changed under warranty - but lets start with the basics first.

It could also be the clutch pedal switch sticking, that would give the same problem. Not expensive to fix either.
