Afternoon,
I have bought a Proton GLS, saloon car, registered 1993, from a very well known internet auction site. The car has full service history and an old lady had it from new. I only paid £415 for the car with twelve months MOT, however, the sunroof is leaking, I don't want to remove it, is there a product that I can buy on the web, where I can put the tube into a caulking gun and fill between the glass and rubber seal and fill the drain channels, I won't use the sunroof after this, I just want to stop the leak.
Thank you for your help,
Nick.

Hi Nick
You could use a tube of black silicone. Just make sure all is clean and dry. apply a line of masking tape around the outer apeture and inner glass edge, fill the gap with the silicone, smoth over with a plastic spatula or similar, and then remove the masking tape.
Cheers

It could be leaking under the seal (ie between the seal and the roof), though!

Thank you for the information, I will do both of the above,
Nick.
