4) I'm going to stop yanking DD's tail [as much]
5) I'm going to get my cars serviced occasionally (Galaxy last week, Mercedes next week, and we'll get to the others at some point)

Is it illegal to drink drive within a gated community? If so, I resolve to stop doing that.
Although it does knock a tiresome ten mins off a round trip to the offy and to be fair, I only do it when I'm so drunk that I can't walk properly.

Probably, as it is illegal to drive under the influence where the public has access to. For example you can lose your licence if you drink and drive on a caravan park, which is private land!

I might work on culturing my road rage. At the moment all you can get out of me is an exasperated sigh - I intend to work on adding gesticulations, the horn, and mouthed obscenities.
In a vaguely related matter, I was driving down a country lane when I encounted a 4x4 driven by an elderly gentleman, who overshot the passing space. He would have needed to go back about 20 feet, me a quarter of a mile. Simple decision, eh? Well, he sat there and waved his arms, beeped the horn, shouted etc. Normally I would give up and reverse, but I was about 5 minutes walk from home and our land bordered the road, so I just got out, locked the car, and walked off. I envied him his 5 mile detour, and fetched the car 20 minutes later. Was feeling particularly pig-headed that day so I apologise now for any inconvenience to other cars who might have come up behind me. Oops.

Not really a resolution but this year will provide me with a couple of dilemmas.
First of all SWMBO is 40 in May and has always promised herself a Beetle for her 40th. But that would mean either the Fabia vrs goes, which I don't want to do, or the Scenic will go but then that leaves me with 2 cars neither of which will really be suitable for taking the family to France this year!
Resolution wise I am going to attempt to be a lot more chilled behind the wheel and not get sucked into roadrage mode quite so easily.

Resolutions:
1) Wash the Punto - done (first time in months and months!)
2) Clean dog hair from seats of Punto
3) Sell Punto - which I've threated for the last three years but never quite got around to...
But then again, I've given up on New Year resolutions, so maybe one out of three isn't bad?

Resolutions:
1) Take up running after a long break from anything fitness related.
2) Lose a bit of weight - 2 stone over the next 12 months should do nicely.
3) Sell the Fiesta and buy a Golf (this is more SWMBO's, but it will fall to me)
I'm not putting giving up fags as a resolution because I have no intention of actually doing it.

Going to enjoy my driving while I can, I reckon the green lobby /speed cameras/ humps/ etc etc will turn me into an electric car wrinkly doing 20 mph at most for fear of getting nicked.
