I have always used optimax as a preffered fuel when it was convenient to fill up with it and have started using V power now it has replaced optimax.
While in the qeue at the filling stn I started to read the V power leaflet and it talks about one of the fuels properties being this Friction Modification Technolgy.
Do you think this remains in the fuel during the combustion process or does it actually coat the piston with anything - in fact would shell be allowed to sell it if it did coat the engine.

Someone recently posted this about me in a thread:-
"if you?re going to start a discussion at least stay on topic"
But please don't - these are much funnier than talking about petrol.
|
If you're being sarcastic, you're going to have to make it a lot more obvious so I know whether I can make an off topic post of to talk about petrol.
|
No sarcasim intended Adam - these really are much better than talking about petrol.
But if you do know anything about the petrol it would help.
That 2nd line sounded a little sarcastic then - it did not mean to - Doh ! people will think I'm being sneery again and I'm not - honest - is it the way I type stuff ?
|
I didn't think you were being sneery Mr S. You never know sometimes though!!
I'm a bit slow so you're best calling a spade a spade if you want me to be quiet.
|
TypeS and Adam(P) ........LOL.
Petrol Petrol Petrol ............. just in case.
