Have just registered for the forum so thought I'd introduce myself.
I'm Dan... 18 year old Student.... passed my test in July this year. I drive a Ford Ka (a bit girly I know, but it's a good car :))
You'll probably see me around on the forum from now on.

It's always said to be a bit of an urban myth about sky hooks but they do exist and I saw them in use on Discovery once. Used for rescue of military personnel by aircraft on the ground.... See

And FIY Pilkington has also made a glass hammer too. But if you ever did physics you'd know glass is stronger than steel. It's just very brittle normally. But we also all know glass fibre is very strong.
